In collaboration with Acko General Insurance, Amazon Pay is now offering insurance plans for two and four-wheelers in India. The move comes from Amazon to make its establishment in the vehicle insurance industry in India. The company declares that with the Amazon car and bike insurance policy, customers can buy insurance plans with "without paperwork" in less than two minutes. "Customers with Amazon Auto Insurance will enjoy services such as hassle-free claims with no or zero paperwork, one-hour pick-up, three-day assured claim servicing, and one-year repair warranty in select cities," the company explained in a blog post. In addition, it is also said on behalf of amazon that you are also going to get instant cash settlement on low claim value.
Users can go to this feature by searching only bike insurance in the Amazon Pay page or search bar. It's important to note that this service is only available for Android and iOS, or for users who use the Amazon mobile website. You can get a discount of about Rs 250 when prime members are less than Rs 5000 premium unmount. If the premiums are between Rs 5000 to Rs 10000, Prime members will get a discount of Rs 499. However, if you go between Rs 10001 to Rs 15000, if you are a prime member, you are going to get a discount of Rs 749, although if your premium is more than Rs 15000, you are going to get a discount of Rs 999.
Two and four-wheel vehicle owners can opt for a number of add-on options such as zero-depreciation, engine safety, and more. Payment can be made using Amazon Pay Balance, UPI, or debit/credit card. After purchasing Amazon Auto Insurance, the policy will be emailed within two minutes and can also be downloaded from your order page.
