How to check LIC policy status online: know here process

First-time users need to fill in the online registration form to check the policy status online. A confirmation mail is then sent to the registered email address. Let's know how to register on the LIC website.

Step 1. First, the user will have to go to LIC's website 'licindia.in' and click on 'New user.'

Step 2. Now you have to choose the user ID and password and provide all the necessary information.

Step 3. Now you have to click on e-services. Now you have to log in with the login ID and register the policy for e-services by filling in the given form.

Step 4. Now, this form has to be printed, and the photo of the form has to be signed and uploaded.

Step 5. Now you have to upload a PAN card or Aadhaar card or passport photo.

Step 6. After verification is done by the officers, the insurance holder will be informed by email and SMS about the sanction.

How to check the status of your policy:

Step 1. Go to LIC's website and click on 'Customer Portal' inside online services.

Step 2. Now select the registered user option.

Step 3. Now enter the username, date of birth, password, and click on 'Go.'

Step 4. Now a new page will open. Here you need to click on View Enrolled Policies.

Step 5. Now a page will open with all the nominated policies. It will also be aware of the date of enrolment, premium amount, and bonus. The insured can check the status of their policy here by clicking on the policy number.
